Book cover for polish book ''Krzyżacy"

This project was created as part of a university assignment focused on book cover design. The task was to design a new cover and layout for the Polish novel “Krzyżacy” by Henryk Sienkiewicz, using the visual language of another book as inspiration. For this project, I chose “Schronisko, które przestało istnieć” by Sławek Gortych as a reference, drawing from its color palette and atmospheric qualities. My goal was to reinterpret the historical theme of “Krzyżacy” through a more contemporary and moody visual style, while maintaining a cohesive and professional book design.The layout was created in Adobe InDesign, while the cover illustration and design were developed in Procreate. All mockups were prepared in Adobe Photoshop.
